430/430F Stainless Steel

Type 430 is a chromium-containing Ferrite stainless steel with moderate corrosion and heat resistance. It combines good corrosion resistance and ductility characteristics, has been widely used in automotive trim and appliance components applications like automotive parts, cooking utensils, valves, food processing parts, television cones, tobacco machinery parts.

Grade 430LX is the version by adding Ti or Nb, the content of C is reduced based on 430 steel, which improves the machining and welding performance, mainly used in heating water systems, sanitary appliances, household appliances, bicycle flywheels and so on. Grade 430F the free-machining version of this grade and has higher machinability than 430, and reduced corrosion resistance is acceptable, available in bar form for use in automatic screw machines.
