410 Stainless steel is a type of low cost, heat treatable stainless steel for general-purpose, has been widely used where corrosion is not severe (air, water, some chemicals, and food acids, or highly stressed parts where needing the combination of strength and corrosion resistance such as fasteners and valve parts. 410S is the lower carbon version of Type 410. It offers improved weldability but lower hardenability recommended for corrosion resisting applications is the main consumption of automobile exhaust steam treatment device, boiler combustion chamber or, nozzle.
